What’s more nerve-wracking than booking a Disney World trip? The wait to finally go on your magical vacation! Once you’ve secured those tickets, what’s next? I’m here to share a key part of my planning process—90 days out from our Disney trip.

With our trip just three months away, I start curating a Disney wish list on Amazon. It’s the perfect way to organize and prepare for the adventure ahead. There are tons of articles, blogs, and YouTube videos offering massive “Amazon Haul” suggestions, but today, I’m sharing my personal list: the items we actually used and loved, and the ones we brought but wouldn’t pack again. (I’ll tell you why so you can make informed decisions for your family!) Convenient Amazon links are included for each item.
Would Recommend
1. New Balance Women’s Fresh Foam ROAV V1 Sneaker
At home, I’m not a big athletic shoe wearer, so I took a chance on these with one hope: no blisters! I broke them in by wearing them periodically before the trip, and they were a dream. Zero complaints—great support, super comfortable, and I chose white so they matched most of my outfits.

2. Belt Bag/Waterproof Fanny Pack
Ladies, leave the purse at home. You don’t want to lug a big bag into the parks, especially in line. Pro tip from Ashley Wright of Pixie Dusted Mom: use a small bag like this for your valuables, and anything left in the stroller should be something you’re okay risking. Trust me, this made life so much easier.

3. Universal Stroller Organizer and Cup Holder
I went overboard on stroller accessories, but this one was a winner! It detaches easily, folds up with a strap for carrying, and has multiple compartments to keep essentials organized. It’s compact yet holds a ton.

4. Clear Stroller Rain Cover
We only dealt with rain once, but this cover was a lifesaver. It kept everything dry and spared our toddler from sitting in a soggy seat afterward.

5. Portable Charger
Between snapping photos, relying on the MyDisney Experience app for everything, and even charging your MagicBand, your phone battery will get a workout. A portable charger is non-negotiable! You can recharge your devices while in line or on a ride, keeping you connected all day long.

6. Band-Aid Hydro Seal Adhesive Bandages
Blisters happen. Be prepared with these because they’re not always easy to find in stores. These bandages are a game changer and worth the investment.

7. Little Kids Disney Musical Bubble Wand
Here’s the ultimate parenting hack for saving money: buy a bubble wand on Amazon before your trip. Hide it in your suitcase and surprise your kiddo when they inevitably beg for one in the park. This one is just $15 and offers characters to choose from. Magical bubbles on a budget!

8. Mini Portable Stroller Fan
This one might have been more for my peace of mind than anything for my toddler. Kids can often handle the heat better than adults, but it’s not as easy for them to tell us when they’re feeling overheated. Having a fan that clipped onto the stroller kept our daughter cool and comfortable, especially on those hot afternoons. Definitely a valuable accessory!

Overrated
1. Philips Filtered Water Bottle
I bought this based on recommendations about Disney’s water tasting odd. While it worked, I found the water wasn’t cold enough from dispensers, so I ended up grabbing free ice water from quick-service spots. The bottle’s top was also tough to sip from. It wasn’t worth the hassle for me.

2. Universal Stroller Organizer Side Sling
This stroller add-on didn’t make it past Day 1. The Velcro straps weren’t strong enough for heavier items, so we only used it for a sun hat and raincoat—both of which could’ve gone in the stroller’s bottom compartment.

3. Women’s Hiking Sandals
As a flip-flop lover, I thought these breathable hiking sandals would be a good alternative. I never wore them in the parks (or since buying them!). The lesson here? Don’t overdo pre-trip purchases. Save your money for Disney treats instead!
4. Fit & Fresh Nina Water Bottle Bag
In theory, this bag is a great idea and may work better for moms with younger kids. I had every intention of using it, but I didn’t end up utilizing the insulated compartment for water bottles. Instead, I tried to make it work as a mini-purse, which it’s not really designed for. To be fair, there are Disney pros who rave about this bag, so it might just be user error on my part!

5. Portable Neck Fan
You’d think this is a genius solution for Florida heat, but here’s the thing: it doesn’t help. It just blows hot air around, and it’s not realistic to wear it on your neck all day long. Save yourself the space in your bag. Honestly, this might be the most overrated item on the list. Plus, if you’re the only one in your group who brought one, you’ll feel like a jerk enjoying your (mostly useless) fan while everyone else is sweating buckets.
